Our branch has been growing stronger and stronger this year. Let's take a look at past & present progress....
The Genealogy programme was established in the branch. People worldwide of Maltese descent have started to study their genealogical history and family trees. Maltese members have recently begun researching from all available resources. This is the first time ever that the Church's family history programme has been brought to Malta's attention. It is a huge project for all concerned, as there is Arabic, English, Australian, Canadian and Italian dominating Maltese heritage.
The plans for a new building was announced earlier this year. The branch has grown big enough to make a ward and is currently being built in the B'Kara area (Valley Road).
Six converts have been baptised. They are as follows:
Delila Demanuele (primary) Joy Zammit (primary) Rose Heard (Relief Society) Joshua Grech (primary) Mary Rita Pritchard (Relief Society) Edward (Nigerian, Priesthood)
The new missionary couple, taking over from the Tuttons have arrived, September 13th. Elder & Sister Forum.
